E.ON Erőművek is investing EUR 400 million in the construction of Hungary's most modern combined cycle power plant in Gönyü. The project will create about 30 jobs, with further vacancies available in the Budapest-based corporate center. During the construction phase, the company is planning to employ an additional labor force of 500 workers in Gönyü. Thus, the project is expected to boost purchase power and the economy in the region.
